AI Assistant

The MN School Dashboard includes an AI assistant available on every page. It is designed to answer questions about the dashboard and the MN framework instantly — without waiting for a human support response.

Click the AI assistant toggle in the top bar of the dashboard. A chat panel opens on the right side of the screen. You can keep it open while navigating the dashboard.

  • Explaining what a Nature or Intelligence score means
  • Explaining what a NatureType means and how to interpret it for a student’s situation
  • Answering questions about what each dashboard page shows and how to navigate it
  • Explaining terms: profile completion, support flags, calibration notes, career starting points
  • Suggesting how to frame a parent conversation given a student’s profile type
  • Answering general questions about the Multiple Natures framework
  • Looking up specific student data — the assistant does not have access to any student records
  • Clinical or diagnostic judgments — it cannot assess a student’s mental health, learning disability, or behavioral condition
  • Overriding staff or counselor decisions — it provides context, not authority
  • Access problems — if you cannot log in, cannot see a student, or see an error in the dashboard, the assistant cannot resolve this; submit a support ticket instead
  • Questions outside the MN framework — grades, attendance, behavior records, and district systems are outside its scope

The assistant does not know which school you are at, which students you work with, or any details about your student population. Do not include student names, ID numbers, or sensitive personal details in your messages to the assistant.

If you need to describe a student situation to get help, use general context: “a student with high Healing and low Administrative” rather than a student’s name or identifying details. The assistant can work with that level of description.

If the assistant cannot answer your question or detects that you need human support, it will offer to connect you to a staff member and pre-fill a support ticket with a summary of the conversation.

You can also skip the assistant at any time and submit a ticket directly. See Submit a Ticket.
