Data Handling

The dashboard stores the following categories of data:

Student profile data

  • MN assessment responses (the student’s answers to the assessment questions)
  • Derived scores: Nine Natures readings, Ten Intelligences readings
  • Active NatureTypes (derived from scores — no separate personal data)
  • Career starting points (derived from NatureTypes — no separate personal data)

Staff-created data

  • Support flags (type, priority, date, staff member who set the flag)
  • Calibration notes (optional staff annotations)
  • Ticket history (support requests submitted through the dashboard)

School configuration data

  • Staff accounts (name, email, role)
  • Class assignments (which students belong to which class)
  • School settings (name, timezone, seat count)

Data is scoped to the school. Staff at one school cannot access any data from another school.

Student data is retained for the duration of the school’s active contract plus 12 months. After that period, data is deleted unless the school requests an extension or data export.

Administrators can request data deletion at any time by contacting support@multiplenatures.com.

Multiple Natures International, LLC processes student data as a school official under FERPA and as a data processor under applicable privacy laws. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) governs this relationship.

The dashboard uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission. Student data is stored in a US-based cloud database with access controls that limit who can read or modify records.

Support staff access is logged. If you have specific security questions for your district’s IT or legal team, contact support@multiplenatures.com and we will respond directly to those questions.

The in-dashboard AI assistant does not have access to individual student records. It can answer questions about the MN framework, dashboard navigation, and how to interpret profile concepts — but it cannot look up, display, or reason about any specific student’s data.

When contacting the AI assistant, do not include student-identifying information. The assistant does not need it to help you.
