Your Role
The dashboard has three staff roles. Each role reflects a different working relationship with students — so each gets a different view. Your role is assigned by your school administrator when they invite you.
Teachers
Section titled “Teachers”Teachers work primarily with their own classes. The starting point is the Classes page — class rosters, profile completion per class, and individual student profiles for the students you teach.

Teachers do not have access to the Counselor Queue or the Admin page.
Counselors
Section titled “Counselors”Counselors work across the full student population. The starting point is the Counselor Queue — a prioritized list of students flagged for attention, sorted by urgency. Student profiles accessible to counselors include support flags and calibration notes that teachers cannot see.

Counselors do not have access to the Classes page or the Admin page.
Administrators
Section titled “Administrators”Administrators have full access across the school. The operational starting point is Admin to set up and manage staff — then Overview to monitor school-wide progress and completion.

Checking your role
Section titled “Checking your role”Your role is shown in the top bar of the dashboard when you are signed in. If you believe your role is incorrect, contact your school administrator — only administrators can change role assignments.
