District IT Checklist
This page is for district technology coordinators, network administrators, and IT staff evaluating or deploying the MN School Dashboard. It covers technical requirements, authentication details, and what you do and do not need to configure.
Authentication

No changes to your Google Admin Console are required. The dashboard appears in OAuth app activity logs like any other Google-connected application your staff uses.
Network requirements

Data flow
Section titled “Data flow”Student data flows between your staff’s browsers and Multiple Natures servers over HTTPS. No data is stored locally on staff devices. No browser extensions are required.
The dashboard does not sync with or connect to your Student Information System (SIS), LMS, or any other district system. Student roster data is managed through the Admin page by your school administrator.
Cookies and local storage
Section titled “Cookies and local storage”The dashboard uses cookies and browser local storage for session management. No tracking cookies are used. No student data is stored in the browser.
Sub-processors
Section titled “Sub-processors”The dashboard relies on a small number of third-party sub-processors to operate (for example, cloud hosting and email delivery). A full sub-processor list is available in the DPA. Contact support@multiplenatures.com to request it.
Penetration testing and security audits
Section titled “Penetration testing and security audits”If your district requires a penetration test report or security audit as part of vendor review, contact support@multiplenatures.com. We will provide available documentation and can discuss your district’s specific requirements.
Student data privacy laws by state
Section titled “Student data privacy laws by state”Multiple Natures International is committed to complying with applicable state student data privacy laws in addition to FERPA. If your state has specific requirements — such as California (SOPIPA/AB 1584), New York (Education Law 2-d), Texas (TCPA), or others — contact support@multiplenatures.com to confirm compliance and obtain any required addenda to the DPA.
